MY STORY: I am so tired of the way this country has been driven into the ground. (both abroad and domestically). I have never felt the need to volunteer for a presidential campaign before, but I am really excited to be a part of obama''s movement for change. I am a 43 yr old mother of 3 babies, and i want them to have a better life than what we have been offering our younger generations. I am sick of negative politics, and i am really frustrated with politicians not focusing on the bigger picture. I am a deputy district attorney in Orange County California (very conservative)and I feel great pride every day when I drive my car with my Obama bumper sticker into such a narrow minded community. However, I really want to contribute my time and effort in order to fight for something i truly believe in. I would love to have the opportunity to be a part of something that will preserve our liberties and civil rights (not backhandedly diminish them). WHAT I NEED: I just received a FREE FLIGHT from a kind relative! That greatly reduces the cost of the trip, and increases my choices of destinations. I am considering going to Billings or Great Falls, a more conservative part of the state. So now I just need to be able to afford a motel, and a rental car, etc. The motel is the most important because I don't want to have to sleep in the car if I have the choice. My brother works for Enterprise Rental Cars so I only need $60 for 2 days of rental. Plus fuel which shouldn't be more than $50 unless we end up driving all over the place.

MY STORY: My partner and I live in Seattle, which feels like Obamaville, USA. We decided to go to Montana where people don''t necessarily see things the same way, and share a bit about how this election could change everything for the better. It''s not only about taxes and the Iraq war. It''s also about valuing people for who they are and restoring our faith in this democracy. John McCain simply does not offer the fundamental reform for society that Obama offers. These are things that people of all walks of life can connect on.
